LittleSTEAM Curriculum

The LittleSTEAM program is dedicated to ensuring school-aged girls are intentionally exposed to STEAM, providing the framework to actively apply academic knowledge to real world scenarios. We value cultural enrichment/artistic perspectives in STEAM

Enrolling in LittleSTEAM provides a unique and enriching experience for any girl regardless of their socioeconomic and educational background, to gain a fresh perspective on the impact of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math, in the the world around them. We challenge the traditional narrative and give girls the option to take advantage of the endless opportunities and possibilities of STEAM.

Objectives

  • To expose young girls to the field of STEAM.

  • Demonstrate real-world connections through practical application.

  • Create opportunities for girls regardless of socio-economic background to reach their full potential.

LittleSTEAM is geared towards girls in  K-8th Grade. Girls are separated into groups in accordance to their grade level.

Groups will consist of:

  • Group 1:  K-2nd Grade

  • Group 2: 3rd-5th Grade

  • Group 3: 6th -8th Grade
